501 C3 STATED PURPOSE

Christ Living In You Ministries is a Christian, inter-denominational, international organization whose purpose is to promote the cause of Christianity world-wide and to demonstrate the message of the Kingdom of God to the spiritually and physically poor through every available means and enterprise. Additionally, our vision is to disciple men, women and children through the Word of God and the operation of the Holy Spirit, emphasizing as foremost an active, maturing relationship with Jesus Christ in an atmosphere that firstly glorifies God and secondly, edifies believers through worship, prayer, fasting, Bible Study, Christian fellowship, and service.

We will work hand in hand with communities, Christian faith based organizations and individuals, bringing about sustainable, spiritual, emotional, social, economic and physical transformation through the Good News as it effectively works through the expression of Christ’s body, the church.

We will feed the hungry, clothe the poor, minister to the elderly, widows and orphans, visit prisoners, set captives free, bind up the broken-hearted, expose injustice, build up the Body of Christ and reach out to all peoples regardless of culture, age, gender or social status in the name and love of Jesus Christ.

THE "MANDATE" VERSES

The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengence of our God; to comfort all who mourn; To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified. And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.        Isaiah 61:1-3
